Hi everyone, wanted to give you a heads up on whats up with Love meets lust.
In this weeks Metro Times there is great review of our record “bitter company”

Also we are playing the art/beats/and eats festival this coming Sunday the 31st at 4pm on the Detroit News Stage.

And finally we have just been added to the Ferndale DIY FAIR after party!!!! We will be playing at Club Bart in Ferndale Sunday Sept 21st. at 11pm…this will be a fun little show for sure.

The guys and I are working hard at getting the new record together and it seems we may be able to have it ready by mid Oct or early Nov - 08….we think you will see some different movements and growth to the sound.

sorry we were gone for a moment. We may be moving hosts soon, so we are sorry for all the breaks in progress.

Well hello again….We just were added to the Real Detroit show at The New Way bar in Ferndale. We play this coming Saturday at midnight as part of the woodward dream cruise….

what a great show last night!!! thanks for coming out and having a rad time with us! There were so many other things going on in the city last night and we were so lucky to have all of you out at the release show. Jimmy made a great debut and was stoked to play for all of you.
Malbec was good as always and the whole show went off without a hitch!
Hope everyone had as much fun as we did!

cd release show tonight and change in member line up…

HI everyone….Tonight is our cd release show at the shelter with Malbec. Doors are at 8pm and we play at 9pm. Tickets are $8.

We have a line up change with our members. Jeff Arcel our art guru and guitar player has moved on to pursue some other endeavors and we wish him the best with whatever he gets himself into. Jeff’s artwork can be seen all over the city via posters and the like. Jeff currently is handling all of the “art Fag” posters and you should not only check out art fag but also Jeff’s art because he is super talented. We hope that Jeff continues to work in some capacity with “Love meets lust” in the future.

Introducing “James Sterling Lees” on guitar and keyboards for Love meets lust. James has spent the past two days cramming his brain with all of our parts and is excited to play for you tonight. We are all anticipating a great first show together.

is shaping up to be a rad show at the shelter… we wanted to keep you posted on what else is happening.

also we have a show coming up in ann arbor in a few weeks at the blind pig we are stoked to be going back to play at that venue. so the details are Friday August 15th. with cardif giant, stereo deluxe, and novada. Also Detroit Cd Release is this coming Saturday July 26th with Malbec (from Los Angeles) at “The Shelter”
